Evening Tutor
Li Feng Education (Shenzhen) Co.
  • Responsible for evening academic supervision of secondary students and international school students from Hong Kong and Shenzhen; all-English textbooks covering English, World & Chinese History, and Economics
  • Adjusted tutoring methods for students at different English proficiency levels; helped multiple students improve reading and comprehension efficiency with English materials
  • Developed patience and cross-age communication skills through teaching; adept at translating abstract concepts into relatable, everyday language

  • Provided EN-CN interpretation for the French team (skipper Aurélien Pierroz); 8-day tournament with zero communication errors, ensuring 100% on-time participation

Dec 2023 – Sep 2025
Immersive Multi-Scenario Overseas Learning
USA & New Zealand
  • Cross-industry rapid learning: Completed 6+ English-only positions across ACME Markets, DF Gift Shop, Anita Gelato, Mekong Baby, etc. — each within 3–7 days from onboarding to full operation, proving the ability to rapidly transfer and apply learning outcomes
  • High-intensity real-world language lab: 19 cumulative months in cross-cultural English-speaking environments. At a US supermarket, serving 200+ customers daily became the most authentic "language lab" — practicing clear communication under complaints, fast pace, and multi-accent pressure, consolidating classroom listening and speaking skills
  • Cross-cultural adaptation & independent management: Autonomously managed life and study transitions across 4 US states and multiple NZ cities (visas, housing, transport, work). Treated each environment switch as an adaptive learning challenge, building high adaptability and independent decision-making

Projects

Concept Design
Delta — Circular Transit Space
  • Built a tripartite circular model — aesthetic curation + return credits + charitable donation: curating pre-owned gems by personal taste, designing tiered return-credit mechanisms, and allocating a fixed share of resale profits to a public-interest fund
  • Fusing visual, music, text, language hybrid, archive, and objects into a multi-content ecosystem, crafting a brand world atmosphere through migratory aesthetics and urban fragments
  • Authored full product requirements document (PRD), leveraging AI Agent to accelerate concept derivation; project open-sourced on GitHub

Product & Development (Ongoing · MVP Live)
Dushugang Weican · Roast Pig — Rural Banquet Online Booking System
  • Returned to my hometown Dushugang Village, Foshan — built for a banquet team with 30 years of history, digitizing Guangdong's traditional rural "Weican" (communal feast) culture for online preservation and access
  • Rule engine with multi-scenario, multi-tier local banquet taboos and dish pairing logic; real-time pricing replacing fixed packages; merchant dashboard with accept/decline/daily cap control, WeCom bot auto-notifications; senior-friendly H5 front-end (large fonts, pastoral style)
  • My role: solo product design, requirement research, rule structuring, development, launch & operations; villagers can now book roast pig/banquets via mobile — dish selection → order → review → notification end-to-end
  • Cultural value: the taboo system and dish pairings preserved in the app are a digital archive of Guangdong rural culinary heritage

A practical problem-solver. Creative, decisive, resilient.

Navigating four languages — Mandarin, English, Cantonese, French. Moving between retail, hospitality, translation, and education. Living alone on three continents, walking into unfamiliar environments again and again. Studying Applied French at Shenzhen Polytechnic University. But the real classroom wasn't in school — it was on the road.

01

Key Experiences

Translating for a world-class sailing regatta. Building a trilingual website in two days with AI tools. Switching between WMRT terminology on the water and chatting with tourists from 50+ countries at a souvenir shop. Tutoring teenagers in Hong Kong and Shenzhen — learning how to teach, how to listen.

02

Facing the Unknown Alone

From the North Island to the South Island of New Zealand. From the East Coast to the West Coast of the US. Handling contracts, visas, taxes, buying a car alone. Arriving in a new city late at night with nowhere to stay, searching for hotels in the dark.

03

The Road I Walked Alone

Hiked Tongariro Alpine Crossing alone — 20 kilometers, over 1000 meters of elevation. Road-tripped across both islands, camped under the stars. In the North Island, picked kiwifruit with coworkers; in the South Island, it was mostly solo — driving alone, watching the sunset at Slope Point by myself.

04

My Conviction

The pack is heavy, the night is deep — but as long as you're willing to ask, to walk, to think clearly, there's no unfamiliar ground you can't cross.
